Itinerary description
Villa Felicidad is a magical place where a suburb of Tala was supposed to have been built, but thankfully the plan was abandoned. Here you will find hundreds of bizarrely shaped rocks and amazing cylindrical "fossil fumaroles" created out of the Tala Tuff, when the Primavera Caldera exploded 100,000 years ago.
Here you can park and hike 2 kms to a hidden pool of icy cold water, perfectly clean. Continue walking beyond the pool to find even more strange rock formations.
