Short but no shortage of cultural and natural attractions that takes us to the refuge shelter of the Ringsaker church. We left behind the Pilegrimsherberget Konfirmantsalen de Veldre and passed by its church, where there is a small chapel that is always open to the service of the pilgrims. We follow the road and then we enter a nice wooded stretch that takes us to the impressive monumental tree of Tokstadfurua. It is a gigantic pine at the foot of which there was an old school, as the information panels inform us. In addition, behind the pine tree, there is a charming cabin where it is possible to read the history of the same as well as observe it comfortably sitting through the glazed roof of it. All a surprising detail. We continue through a forest area until we reach a road junction where we find a petrol station among other facilities, we must pay attention to the signaling because we will have to cross to get back to a track in a wooded area to get to the Prøysenstua or house museum. by Alf Prøysen, a Norwegian writer and musician who became famous above all for the illustrations of his children's books. We leave behind the museum house to continue along the track between woods where wild strawberries abound until we reach the asphalt. Following by road we will first pass by a curious and old gas station and shortly after we will arrive to our accommodation today, the pilgrim hostel of Ringsaker church that is in an ideal location, literally touching the cemetery and therefore the church . To emphasize the curious altarpiece of the same, all a rarity in Norway, since it was saved before destruction of works of art after the protestant Reformation.
