Itinerary description
The 5 hour long trail starts at the Tamblingan park entrance and heads through villages and farming area around South to the end of the forest. After entering the forest you climb steadily till you reach the crater rim around Gunung Lesong. The crater is a sight to behold. You walk along the rim till you reach the summit of the mountain, and then head down through the forest back to Lake Tamblingan. The final forest is pretty special, with giant ficus trees creating macabre and awesome forms throughout the valley.

Great trail thanks, we had the whole track to ourselves which was really nice. Beautiful forest and looked amazing in the mist. There are heaps of side trails near the end so keep your whits about you...
