Itinerary description
Trail done from village Vešala, there is a wide dirth road all the way till the intersection we took to Šeremetica ridge. Ascent to the ridge is trough not marked terrain. When we got to the ridge, terrain from grass turn into rocks, on some places you will need to use your hands too to get down from rocks or up, terrain is steep and ridge path is narrow so caution is needed. Unfortunately we had fog in the morning, so we couldn't enjoy the view this time. From Šeremetica ridge we reached to Guri Šeremetica peak from where there is a descent to the pass from where you can go to Karanikoličko lake or continue with ascent to all the peaks arround the lakes, which we did till Karanikola peak where weather again closed and peak was all in cloud, here we decide to descent to the lake. All descents are trough mild terrain, not marked. You will see few marks at the lake and on Skarpa peak, but they will not help you to guide the route. Descent from Karanikola lake is partly marked, there are many crossroads and paths leading different directions, eventually they will all take you to Vešala, the difference is only in the scenary, but I do recomand you choose safe option, which is the one we used on our way back to the village. On this route we met few dogs, as there are many sheep houses in the area, they were not agressive, but to be on a safe side, try to avoid doung these trails alone and make sure you always move in a group for safety. We run into several marks left by bears, so it wan't harm being careful.
You will see that there is plenty of water on the route, but always have at least 1l as these are mountain spring and with them you can never be 100% sure they did not dried or are not destroyed.
