Itinerary description

A moderate to difficult hike, but clearly marked and defined, one of the best in my opinion.
It has every thing from running creeks, beautiful gullies to mountain top views. We did this hike after overnight rains so there was plenty of water in the creeks with many cascades and falls.
Start at the carpark opposite the shops and take the clearly marked trail, head towards the Venus baths, then along the rocky trail to Splitters Falls, from here up through the gully to the Grand Canyon. The next part of the hike is all up hill to the Pinnacles, on the way you will pass the Bridal Veil falls and pass through Silent Street.
We arrived at the Pinnacles just in time for a fearsome storm to hit complete with a downpour of snow, it was something to see.
The view was from the lookout was limited due to the weather but on a clear day is spectacular.
Head back 50 metres to the junction in the trail and follow the signs over the rock slabs to the trail that decends all the way back to Halls Gap.
