Haut Queyras day 6: Les Fonds - Ville-Vieille

Sixth and last day of the tour.
From Les Fonds head south and start walking up the charming valley culminating in the last pass of the journey, i.e. the Col de Péas. After that, a long descent awaits you.
You will meet two crossroads on your way down: the Bergerie du Haut de Péas and La Cuche. If you want to shorten your walk, turn left at one of them: this way you will arrive in the little hamlet of Rouet faster.
I selected a slightly longer deviation, probably more panoramic, by keeping right and strolling along the west side of the valley. Before reaching Rouet, you cross the village of Souliers and walk on an asphalted road for a few hundred metres. After a wayside cross you can spot a tractorable road leading to Rouet. From there, you only need to follow to main path to Ville-Vieille, always well signalled.

Sesto ed ultimo giorno del tour.
Da Les Fonds andate a sud e percorrete in salita la verde valle sovrastata dall'ultimo passo della vacanza, ossia il Col de Péas. Lungo la discesa dopo il passo incontrerete due intersezioni: Bergerie du Haut de Péas e La Cuche. Se volete accorciare girate a sinistra in una di esse, giungendo quindi più velocemente all'abitato di Rouet.
Io ho optato per una deviazione leggermente più lunga, probabilmente però più panoramica, mantenendo la destra e camminando lungo il versante ovest della vallata. Prima di entrare a Rouet sorpassate il villaggio di Souliers e camminate su una strada asfaltata per poche centinaia di metri. Dopo una croce di via vedrete una via trattorabile che porta a Rouet. Da quest'ultimo insediamento seguite il sentiero principale per Ville-Vieille, sempre ben indicato.
