This trail is great and has lost of different kinds of scenery. It leaves from the car park into a small forest, over a bridge into moorland. The weather was great which made for easy walking although mud was still around in some places. The path is reasonably easy to follow in the first part of the route. After a while the path separates from others and either follows grass or rocks upward. This part is most difficult and has some lengthy climbs. Once on top its easy walking again with great sights, such as the reservoir below and Manchester towards the west (on a clear day). The route then follows the top of the hill and eventually reaches the highest point on Kinder. Here the descend slowly starts and brings you right back to the car park. This trail is in my opinion strenuous at times but greatly worth it as it is one of the greatest in the Peak District.
