Risky Risky Risky
This hike is very dangerous and advanced! The aim was to open an old trail that was used 80years ago!
The trail was narrow and covered with trees and rock! As beautiful as the trail was, its danger overcame it.. the dried lief makes it slippery and tricky. I have slipped a couple if times and got injured. The rocks are not stable as well.. therefore, you should be an expert tondo this trail ( not recommended for solo hiker! ).
We started at church Rafqa, then started the trail.. over looking the meeting point of the two rivers, afterward, our hardship began, getting off trail to find the old trail, you’ll see many track backs, study the map before going. The aim was to go through the old trail to reach L Kalb river, after achieving this, we went all the way down to the lower extension of Wadi El Salib & Nahr El Kalb, rocks are very high and risky! Pay extra attention! And then, we climbed the mountain when we reached to a cliff, to close the loop and get back to our cars.
You always need to have a first aid kit for any emergency. Enjoy and plz keep it clean!
