Itinerary description
First part of the hike passes through many different landscapes and has open views over the whole area. The second part is mostly through dense forest with some open views over the fjord. The last part is over the main road back to Herand.
Trail markers are there, but were difficult to find in May so make sure you add this track to your GPS device, or use a detailed map.
This trail should be no problem for fit hikers and was possible in early May.

Nice walk. Best to walk the track clockwise (as shown on the map). As said above, trail markers are absent sometimes. Regarding the second part through the forest next to the fjord: it starts fine, but gradually the path is less walked and more difficult.
Anyway, it was a great day walk.
