Itinerary description
Recently, a group of us stayed at a Hip Camp at Widgee called “Hopevale Adventure Camp”, 40km west of Gympie. Not only was it a great camping spot but the camp allows access to a couple of great trails into Wrattens Reserve. First we did a 3km walk up a steep ridge to explore the “Hidden Cave”, next we did a much easier 3km walk along a creek line to an amazing 40m tall waterfall. There is also a couple of other short walks to do. A great spot to explore and relax.
