Itinerary description
Nice and easy hike to Escó, an abandoned village from the shores of Embalse de Yesa.
We parked for the night at an amazing spot down beneath the Escó village. We first go along the shore lines of the reservoir, at the large parking lot we go up in the direction of the new A21 viaduct, a bit of strange contrast between the new and the old.
Here we enter Escó, a must see for yourself.. and it’s much vaster than we expected. You can even enter the church, from all angles the views of the village and the reservoir below are really spectacular.
Passing the cemetery we head downhill again to the reservoir.

Cet itinéraire n'est plus balisé sur une grande partie. Il est peu ombragé et peut être dangereux au niveau des ruines du village abandonné. En août 2023 une voie rapide était en construction sur le parcours.
