Itinerary description

Early in the morning, I took a bus at Liptovský Mikuláš and arrived at the northern end of the small village Prosiek. The trail started next to the car park there. For the first part of the trail, I walked past the Prosieka dolina, which was a narrow valley with a small stream. Occasionally, I needed to make use of the chains to get past some tricky points, which was new to me and I found it quite fun. At the end of the valley, I had to literally climb out of the valley using the steel ladders. Out of the valley, there was a lovely open view of lush green pasture that I enjoyed very much. My next stop was a small cafe Bufet Goral, where I had a hot dog, a cup of coffee and a little rest. Then I headed into another valley, walked past a small waterfall and arrived at Vodné mlyny Oblazy. These were water mills about a hundred years old. After visiting the water mills, I continued to walk downhill for my destination, the small village of Kvačany, from where I took a bus to return to Liptovský Mikuláš.
