Itinerary description
Hiking - Pian Mune' is a small ski area in the Po Velly other than Crissolo-Pian del Re. This easy hike starts from a small parking lot at a switchback on the road climbing to Pian Mune'.
Mostly shaded, the forest road provides a pleasant walk to Rifugio Bertorello. Typical mountain bike ride as well, granting - by mid-August - irresistible feasting on endless ripe wild raspberry growing on the roadside.
Lodging and food available at Bertorello or at Pian Mune' where the Pian Croesio chairlift also operates in summer for those willing to go higher up without effort.
Easily reachable from Pian Mune', the Trebulina interpretive trail is a 30-minute experience through dense wet woods with a few available pic-nic tables.
Foggy day although much welcome to escape the heat of the valley bottom.
