Itinerary description
Hillbrook road is one of the best spots to access the trails between Mt Nebo Enoggera Reservoir and Gold Creek. The tracks are all wide firetrail and wind back and forward across Enoggera Creek.
The track starts at probably the highest point and then precedes along South Boundary Rd and the centre track towards Mt Nebo. At the bottom of the first Hill you reach Enoggera Creek where there is a pond and running Creek area which is quite beautiful. From there you proceed up the hill towards Mt Nebo road on a steady incline.
At the top of the hill you then take the track that becomes quite bumpy down to where Holmans break connects with Mt Nebo Rd. Holmans is a very steep up and down track. The bottom of Holmans is a water crossing where you need to jump across some stepping stones.The track concludes following the the trail back up to South Boundary Rd and back to Hillbrook Rd.

A good energetic hike that has some great steep uphill and downhill parts of the trail. Whilst it is only 10kms, it is more the steepness of the hills that test one's ability.
