Itinerary description
Parte de la ruta de los Contrabandistas, no pudimos volver por la peña Vela por haber una montería... Lástima porque nos tocó volver por la carretera, con lo que pierde encanto.

We have walked this route on several occasions, and it was delightful
HOWEVER. In October 2017 we found that the entire section between Saucelle and Hinojosa which followed an ancient stone paved trackway has been replaced with a horrible wide sand and rubble track. It is an act of vandalism to destroy this ancient route and has completely ruined that section of the walk. We won't do it again, it was too sad.
Is there a group working to preserve ancient trails? I'd like to join.
