Itinerary description
Wilderness trek around Hofsjökull with some smaller trips in Kerlingarfjöll at the end. Rating "Very difficult" because of the river and glacier crossings. I spent around 11 days for the actual loop.

Do you remember how difficult were the river crossings on the north side of the glacier?
Sorry, I didn't see your comment until now.
Generally speaking the river crossings were very difficult, in particular very cold, with opaque water and pieces of ice submerged in them. The north side of the glacier however was OK by comparison, it was on the northwest that was the worst, as far as I remember.
