Itinerary description

A short circular hike with various viewpoints with old ruins from the War of Independence and Byzantine period. I recommend using the Amud Anan app (https://amudanan.co.il/) to find additional points of interest (that I have not marked) a little easier.

You can find an abundance of figs, almonds, dates, pomegranates, olives, and other fruit bearing trees while on the trail (depending on the season).

The trail is not particularly shaded so it is recommended to bring a hat and water during the summer months (there may be water fountains in the park across the street from where the trail starts if needed).

Be careful as there are many open pits along the way especially when deviating from the marked trails.

At this point it is recommended to keep following the path back to the cow pasture rather than taking the detour marked on the map.
