Hospic de Vielha- Tuc Deth -lac Redon
depart the large car park at the Hospice..above the tunnel. trail is clearly marked ..head north for few hundred mtes , trail then takes sharp right and starts to zig zag through rocks, some large at times. at the top valley flattens a bit and you see path climbs to left side of the water fall, cairns mark the way all the time, path is small and zwindy..after a while land flatens out and you see tuc montoliet ..the trail passes in front face and towards east...here path is now on shale and the signs show for Port de vielha, we found much snow here, we did not have crampons and had to take much care to cross..after the snow the climb to tuc death is much stones and just follow the markers cairns untill you reach the summit..here we took rest before headind down the other side towards Lac Redon..trail is marked at the top but you must find own way to reach the lac..follow around and toy find trail leadind down which joins the GR11..path is then easy to follow back to Hospice and parking.
