Itinerary description

The route starts at the Petit Saint-Bernard Pass. You can arrive there by car from La Rosière (France) or La Thuile (Italy) near the border. The car park is in the Hospice du Petit Saint-Bernard. From there, the path is well indicated with different signs.

The first section of the path is in the same direction than the Lancebranlette peak. After 40 minutes there is a separation. On the right, the path follows to the Lancebranlette and to the left is the path to the Lac Sans Fond. After a 40 minutes walk following the left path, you will arrive to the Lac Sans Fond.

Once there, is the perfect place to make a pause, eat something and check the amazing views.

From the Lac Sans Fond, you can continue the circular route towards the Col de Forclaz. After some minutes, you will arrive to a separation of paths. On the right, to the Col de Forclaz and to the left, the return path to the Hospise du Petit Saint-Bernard.
