Itinerary description
On the other site of La Pedriza this "concavity" (which is the most correct translation for hoya) of San Blas offers some nice tracking possibilities. Starting from the parking lot (which is not easy to find when leaving the road between Soto del Real and Manzanares del Real) you can follow two trails: Pista Baja and Pista Superior. This track follows the latter. We tried to go from Pista Superior to Hoyo Cerrado, from where you can follow an even higher trail around the Hoya de San Blas, but above 1600 m. the track was not visible anymore due to the snow so we went back to the Pista Superior. When you join the Pista Baja again (at Alto de la Ferrería) you can follow the Pista Baja back to the parking but we took a shortcut; not realy a trail but some milestones will guide you along a small brick wall back to the parking.
