Out and back walk commencing at 2150m to mainland Spain highest point - Mulhacen at 3485m. Only marked as difficult because of the altitude. Dirt road up to Mirador and then path or across country from there. Can be cold and very windy even in summer so bring a fleece or jacket. No water on route.
