For the first 250 meters up to the Vesterashütte we chartered a taxi at the info center. The reason was actually the lack of information in the Infocenter. There were no meaningful maps or signs about an ascent route. We were told to go up the highway. Excellent !
Well, from the Vesterashütte we have then on the recommendation of the host the way on the step path to the plateau above the Storseterfossen chosen.
Anyone who wants to experience huge thunder thunderstorms, should then take the continuing path under the waterfall. (If you have the right shoes).
In summer weather we were thrilled by this refreshment.
The descent then leads past the campsite and the fjord center. From here there is a new panoramic trail right next to the Geiranger waterfall down to the harbor.
