Trail van Lescun naar Gavarnie via:
We drove our car to the highest parking lot in Gavarnie, Col du Tentes. We parked our car, put our backpacks on our backs and start the walk to Gavernie. We walked down on a mountainbike trail but you can also follow the road.
In Gavernie we hitchhiked to the train station in Lourdes and took the train to Oloron-Sainte-Marie. We hitchhiked to Lescun, drinked a beer after a day of communting and started our trail to Gavernie. We walked 5km so we could set up our tent in the nature.
Day 1: 26.78km distance & 1417m hight difference, we hiked from Lescun to Ibón de Estanés
Day 2: 26.54km & 1203m hight difference, we hiked from Ibón de Estanés to Lac Castérau
Day 3: 25.01km & 1908m hight difference, we hiked from Lac Castérau to Lac d'Arrious
Day 4: 24.96km & 1322m hight difference, we hiked from Lac d'Arrious to Port de la Peyre Saint Martin
Day 5: 24.02km & 1378m hight difference, we hiked from Port de la Peyre Saint Martin to Refuge des Oulettes de Gaube
Day 6: 26.95km & 1212m hight difference, we hiked from Refuge des Oulettes (vignemale) to our car in Gavernie
