Itinerary description

English (castellano below):
Variant of the normal tour due to one path not available because of the Swiss National day (August 1st).

There are several parking options in the city center. We decided to park in the street so it was free of charge.
All the way is very easy to walk and the castles are opened so you can visit them from the inside. There are different compartments which are transformed as museums which cost 5 CHF on each.

Due to the festivity one of the marked paths was closed so we had o go around it. We ended up following the road but there were always shortcuts via the forest. The worst part it's about 1.5 km that is more steep than the rest, but overall it's a nice family walk.

There are restaurants in the first (Castelgrande) and the last castle (Sasso Corbaro).

Castellano:

I have followed this trail  View more

Nice circular walk around the three Bellinzona castles. The old town is also very nice, and lots of other things to see/do in the area...

The information in Lidano is very bad. No one in information center and after 20 minutes for route 1 we were already completely lost. We were suddenly on a slippery and dangerous path up hill. We decided to go back. After 25 minutes we were to our own surprise back at our car. What a waste! Never again to Ludano.
