Itinerary description
A 2-weeks-hike in the Southern Highlands of Iceland
The hike starts at Þórsmörk and follows the Laugavegur until Hvanngil. It then continues north of the Strútstigur until Eldgjá, then on top of Gjátindur and passing the Uxatindagljúfur canyon (an aboslute hightlight of all my Iceland hikes!), finally until the Langisjór lake. Then to the west until Landmannahellir and getting to the finish in Landmannalaugar by the Klukkugilsleið.
