Itinerary description
We start at the village of Igualeja and immediately start with a fairly steep climb on good tracks. The whole of this section has wonderful views and lots of autumn colour from the chestnut trees. This section to Parauta takes us about 2hrs. When we enter the village, it has many interesting features to admire as we make our way to the banana stop at a small picnic area.
We then leave Parauta heading towards Cartajima on a good wide track which features many interesting carvings and decorative features on the way. Before we reach Cartajima we come to a dry stream bed. Here we start a tricky climb on a single track which takes us back towards Igualeja. This climb is quite steep so we will take it steady. When we are within sight of Igualeja we come to a tricky downhill section on single track on loose sand/gravel. Assistance will be given on the couple of tricky sections. At the end of this we enter the village near the square where we started the walk.Loop trail from Igualeja passing through:

- Fuente Nueva (4.2 km)
- Mirador Pujerra Cartajima (4.9 km)
- Molino Del Real Ruinas (6.1 km)
- Fuente semana Santa (8.6 km)

Una ruta muy completa, y bien indicada en el track. Quedan hojas en los castaños todavía? Estuvimos por Pujerra y apenas tenían hojas ya.

Una ruta que combina un entorno impresionante con ejercicio. Se sigue muy bien, solo hay que estar un poco atentos al llegar al río. El track está clarísimo.
