Igueste - Playa de Antequera ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Deze tocht is een wandeltocht "buiten categorie ". We vertrekken in Igueste, de uithoek van het eiland voor een tocht via een oud pad naar het verlaten strand van Antequera. Een tocht niet voor mensen met hoogtevrees of slechte knieën. Hier en daar ook best gevaarlijk met enkele smalle passages. In totaal goed voor 1010 hoogtemeters ( en evenveel terug naar beneden) Maar u wordt op deze 13km meer dan beloond met fenomenale uitzichten en natuurpracht. Het is belangrijk om weten dat het pad naar het strand op veel plaatsen slecht onderhouden is en best wel gevaarlijk op sommige stukken. Het laatste stuk naar het strand is het pad smal en u loopt op een hoogte van 100m boven de zee, maar dit is wel het mooiste stuk van deze tocht. De klim terug naar boven gaat via de Barranco de Antequera en is lang en lastig, evenals de daling terug naar Igueste langs de PR TF5. Maar voor wie een goede conditie heeft en stapzeker is, is dit echt wel een 5*-tocht! Doe deze wandeling enkel wel bij mooi weer!

Salimos desde Igueste, el rincón más recóndito de la isla, para realizar un recorrido por un antiguo camino hasta la playa desierta de Antequera. Un recorrido no apto para personas con miedo a las alturas o problemas de rodillas. También es bastante peligroso aquí y allá, con algunos pasajes estrechos. Un total de 1010 metros de desnivel positivo (y la misma cantidad de descenso). Pero en estos 13 km serás más que recompensado con vistas fenomenales y belleza natural. Es importante saber que el camino a la playa está en mal estado en muchos lugares y es bastante peligroso en algunas partes. La última parte hasta la playa el camino es estrecho y se camina a una altura de 100 m sobre el mar, pero esta es la parte más hermosa de este recorrido. La subida de nuevo por el Barranco de Antequera es larga y difícil, al igual que la bajada de regreso a Igueste por el PR TF5. Pero para aquellos que están en buena forma y tienen confianza, ¡este es realmente un tour de 5*! ¡Haz esta caminata solo cuando haga buen tiempo!
