Itinerary description
Beautiful hike from the cute little village of Imada down the Guarimiar gorge. Long, scenic downhill, tough scenic uphill, then a bit of road walking through Targa and Alojera, then some more great views on your way back into Imada.
Something went wrong with my GPS during our rest stop - the smaller peak in the middle of the elevation profile never actually happened. So the total time and distance are correct but the elevation gain (and loss) should be about 300 metres less.
Amazing hike, but I wouldn't try it in the rain, or if you are uncomfortable hiking down steep rocky trail or don't like heights. Check out Routinely Nomadic for a complete guide to hiking on La Gomera.

Stunning hike! Highly recommended!! Thanks for sharing! It made our lives easier during our short stay in La Gomera. We got a bit lost when your gps signal got lost in the trail but we just followed the path and got there 🤪 Thanks again!

Amazing hike! At some point in the gorge the navigation goes bananas, but just follow the normal path and it's all good 🙌
Glad it all worked out!
