Istán: Sendero del Charco del Canalón

At the end of the trail "Sendero del Charco del Canalón" there are two swimming spots. The first is somewhat shallower and also suitable for children, but the bottom is very muddy and therefore the otherwise crystal clear water clouds quickly. The second bathing spot is very deep and steep rock walls go up on the sides, so it is only suitable for experienced swimmers.
At the end of the second pool there is a beautiful waterfall coming out of the rock on the left. It is not a natural waterfall, but a result of a leak in the open water channel above it, but nevertheless it is very beautiful. Depending on the water level, you can swim under the waterfall, climb over some rocks and then walk a bit further through the river. But even here you have to swim in some places.

Al final del sendero del Charco del Canalón hay dos pozos. El primero es algo menos profundo y también es adecuado para los niños, pero el fondo es muy fangoso y el agua, aunque sea muy limpio, se enturbia rápidamente. El segundo pozo es muy profundo y hay acantilados, por lo que sólo es apto para nadadores experimentados.
Al final del segundo pozo, una hermosa cascada sale de la roca a la izquierda. No es una cascada natural, sino el resultado de una fuga en acequia que pasa por encima, pero no le quita belleza. Dependiendo del nivel del agua, se puede nadar bajo la cascada, trepar por algunas rocas y luego caminar un poco más por el río. Pero aquí también hay que nadar en algunos lugares.

Am Ende des Wanderweges "Sendero del Charco del Canalón" befinden sich zwei Badestellen. Die erste ist etwas flacher und auch für Kinder geeignet, allerdings ist der Boden sehr schlammig und daher trübt sich das ansonsten glasklare Wasser schnell ein. Die zweite Badestelle ist sehr tief und an den Seiten gehen steile Felswände hoch, daher ist sie nur für geübte Schwimmer geeignet.
Am Ende der zweiten Badestelle kommt rechts ein wunderschöner Wasserfall aus dem Felsen. Er ist zwar kein natürlicher Wasserfall, sondern aus einem Leck der darüberlaufenden offenen Wasserleitung enstanden, aber das tut seiner Schönheit keinen Abbruch. Je nach Wasserstand kann man unter dem Wasserfall hindurchschwimmen, über ein paar Felsen klettern und auf dann noch etwas weiter durch den Fluss wandern. Aber auch hier muss man an einigen Stellen schwimmen.
