Itinerary description
Got the details for this trail from Abdulaziz Almutawaa; he was very helpful and guided us all the way to a nice camping spot and also guided us throughout the trail to the summit.
We reached to the pyramid and signed the finishers book.
Abdullah’s tips:
- Parking spot: 23°16.049′ N, 44°34.136′ E that’s where you’ll look for the first trail mark which is marked by stones; you’ll have to go over a sand dune to seen the first mark.
- carry 2 liters or more of water.
- carry hydrating fruits and snacks
- if you’re camping try to camp away from the parking spot since it has water wells which attracts animals.

Easy to follow
Scenery
Difficult
Difficult trail, do not take it lightly. Not advisable to visit in small number. Stone marking disappear and gets disoriented. From the start of off road to the trekking point, it takes about 50mins off road car travel. No mobile signal
