This is a one way hike that starts at Jebel Jais view point #3 and ends at Jais View deck park.
Its a Beginner plus hike with properly laid trail all the way.

2. Nayt village / wadi shah via Samar trail (one way)

From the hike start point, the trail is well laid and visible and within 1.5 Kms you will reach Wassab village of few houses, goats and donkeys. There are few people living there too.
You hike further about 400 meters from the village and the trail reaches a intersection.
The right side ascent goes to Rahabah mountain / Highlander trail etc.
The straight trail goes to descent path of Nayt village of Samar trail near Wadi Shah.
We walked about 500 meters towards Nayt village during this hike ti view the village from the top.
From the previous intersection, You take the right path which zigzags all the way to the mountain top with 2 manmade shelters for good rest and great view points with great views.
Eventually you reach another intersection.
The left side descends towards Haqeel village as per Highlander 2021 / 2022 trail.
You hike rightwards towards the Jebel Rahabah which has Communication tower and the Paragliding platform.
This section of the walk is scenic, specially on the Western side with Al Rams and Coastal RAK.
Once you reach the tower, you can come back a little to merge into the descent trail towards Jais View deck park.
The descent trail is also very well made, visible and scenic.
Overall this is a very safe trail that can be hiked by beginners during cooler times with many breaks. You are always in the phone network and very much closer to the civilisation.
The views of Jais mountains and the coastal RAK is very scenic.
Take care and hike safe.
Take all needed supplies as there is no support on the mountain.
Be Safe and Enjoy the Hike.

Hi,
Can family go to this trail up to first 4km & come back, as I seen up to there only 100m elevation.
They already did wadi shah to hidden oasis & samar trail.
Thanks,
Ganesh Kumbhar
