Jarindo 894 m. - Mirugain 698 m.

<<< English follows >>> Esta ruta tiene dos objetivos, el pico Jarindo (894 m.) y el pico Mirugain (698 m.). Para ambos casos salimos desde el área de picnic que hay sobre la carretera A-2620 (ver track de la ruta). El merendero tiene una ermita, seis mesas y columpios. Está junto a la carretera pero no parece que sea una carretera con mucho tráfico. Primero subiremos al Jarindo y, de camino al Mirugain, se pasa de nuevo por el parking así que no hace falta llevar muchas cosas en la mochila. De camino al Jarindo pasamos por bosque de pinos, robles y hayas. El día es fresco y acaba de llover. Estamos a finales de marzo y todo está de color marrón. Subiendo al Jarindo pasamos por puestos de caza de paloma. En el WPT “Valla // Fence” hay que cruzar la valla por el portillo y continuar hacia Jarindo dejando la valla a la izquierda. Cuidado con el WPT “Giro derecha // Right turn” porque hay que pasar la valla y continuar hacia una casa de color verde. Esta primera parte de la ruta es entretenida, con suelo de tierra suave y pistas anchas. Tras regresar al coche, comenzamos la segunda parte de la ruta. El primer tramo es por carretera, sin mucho interés, hasta que se llega a un giro a la izquierda que nos mete en un bosque de hayas enormes. La pendiente en este tramo es significativa. La cima del Mirugain está rodeada de bosque y no hay panorámica. Al bajar del Mirugain llegamos a estanque de Albiña, un lugar muy tranquilo y precioso, un entorno muy natural. La pega es que el recorrido junto al estanque no está muy marcado y, al final, decidí salir a la carretera y regresar al coche andando por el asfalto. En resumen, ruta doble con tramos de interés y, a veces, con mucho asfalto. <<< English >>> This route has two objectives, Jarindo Peak (894 m.) and Mirugain Peak (698 m.). For both cases we left from the picnic area on the A-2620 road (see track of the route). The picnic area has a hermitage, six tables and swings. It is next to the road but it does not seem to be a road with a lot of traffic. First we will ascend to Jarindo and, on the way to Mirugain Peak, we will go through the parking lot again so we do not need to carry much stuff in our backpack. On the way to Jarindo we went through a forest of pines, oaks and beech trees. The day is cool and it has just rained. We are at the end of March and everything is brown. Going up to the Jarindo we went through pigeon hunting posts. In the WPT "Valla // Fence" you have to cross the fence through the gate and continue towards Jarindo leaving the fence to your left. Beware of the WPT "Right turn // Right turn" because you have to pass the fence and continue towards a green house. This first part of the route is entertaining, with soft dirt soil and wide tracks. After returning to the car, we started the second part of the route. The first section is by road, without much interest, until you come to a left turn that gets us into a forest of huge beech trees. The slope in this section is significant. The top of the Mirugain is surrounded by forest and there is no panoramic. Returning from Mirugain Peak we arrive at Albiña pond, a very quiet and beautiful place, a very natural environment. The downside is that the route next to the pond is not very marked and, in the end, I decided to go out on the road and return to the car walking along the asphalt. In summary, double route with sections of interest and, sometimes, with a lot of asphalt.
