Cala Blanca - Mirador de Cala Blanca (Jávea)

Comprised by two adjacent coves, connected by stone shoreline. Its name was inspired by the white colour of its rocky cliffs. CALETA I: Rural cove with gravel and pebbles located at the end of Avda. Ultramar. It has access by car and the last section can be explored by a small walkway of approx. 100 m. From here, it is possible to access the “Cala Blanca” Scenic Viewpoint. Length: 80 m (approx.) CALETA II: Rural cove with gravel, boulders and pebbles. It is characterized by its “tosca” sandstone arm which extends into the sea to form a barrier, hence its waters are usually crystalline and calm. It is accessed on foot from Caleta I. You may also access it by means of stairs from the scenic viewpoint, “Mirador de les Caletes”. Length: 40 m (approx.)

Cala Sardinera Cove (Jávea)

Small virgin cove with gravel and boulders in the north end of Cap Prim or Sant Martí. This beach has a pedestrian access from the “Cruz del Portitxol” scenic viewpoint, by means of a trail which extends next to a pristine natural environment. Formerly, it was the best site for the “sardinales”, fine sardine fishing nets which were sunk two times a day at sunrise and sunset, hence the origin of its name.
