Itinerary description
Will finish the description later
Jabal Harf Tila is a mountain in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It has two main peaks: the major has an elevation of 1568 meters and the minor 1555 meters. Two peaks are situated next to each other which explains the mountain's nickname - Twin Brothers or Twin Peaks.
Timeline
Our timeline approximately looked like this.
5:00 AM - meet in Wadi Naqab. Drop one car.
6:30 AM - start a hike in Wadi Taween.
8:15 AM - first village (Dfan)
10:30 AM - village at 1300 m altitude
12:00 PM - Jebel Harf Tila (major) summit
2:20 PM - village at 1200 m altitude
3:20 PM - Sheri village
4:50 PM - finish hiking
6:20 PM - reach the second car in Wadi Taween
Parking and logistic
This hike requires two cars. Leave one car where the trail ends 25.715430, 56.114242. Alternatively, you can park it a bit earlier on a higher level here 25.714329, 56.104224. It will make you walk about 1 km extra in Wadi Naqab. Then go with the second car to Wadi Taween and park at 25.615792, 56.153326 after boulders. As of April 2024, both locations can be reached by AWD, but I would drive a 4x4 car anyway.
