Itinerary description
Circular hike from parking area on A4050 between Jete & Otivar.
The route starts immediately with a great cardio uphill exercise which flattens out at the top. Option of turning left or if you turn right you can visit the Ermita de la Virgin de Bodijar.
The route goes through the typical hillside tree plantations which Andalucia is renowned and is very well sign posted.
After visiting the Ermita, the hike becomes more gentle and descends downhill to Otivar taking in the amazing views of the Rio Verde valley.
