Itinerary description
29 January 2017, we left our camp (1100m alt) at 3am attempting a new route of Jezerca in winter, Jezerca standing at 2694m/alt, is the highest peak in Albanians alps. Our team of 10 members, succesfully, all arrived to the top, with a lot of difficulties our climb totally lasted 19 hours, 12 hours of ascend and 7 hours of descend. Our route was shorter than traditional route, but more vertical climb in a shorter distance, and the powder snow was making our climb a lot harder. During the ascend we had to use crampons, ice axes and belaying together was necessity as we passed over icy slopes, exposed avalanche places, vertical walls and tight ridges.

Did you get to the summit? Based on the uploaded track, doesn't look like you have reached the summit.
Hi dear, thanks for your comment. Regarding this GPX file it is true what are you saying but, my garmin fenix battery after 2nd day has stopped working on that point, and it saved automatically the file. From that point you can see the peak and the (cross).. so you just go for it. We reached the top on that day exactly on 3pm.
Have a good day
