Itinerary description
Jimena de la Frontera starting at the Bridge and following the river upstream on right hand bank we followed a path away and up through the trees to eventually take a track out to lagoon ( dry at this time of year) then steeply down through the trees where the path is at times indistinguishable. After passing a huge rock we actually deviated too far to the right and had to find our way back so a more straightforward way down should be found if following this track. A very pleasant track to return back along the other side of the river, passing the old artillery factory, to the road again.
