IMPORTANT NOTE: THE DIFFICULTY WITH WHICH I CATALOG MY ROUTES IS REFERRED TO MOUNTAINS USED TO WALK, WHO UNWIND THEMSELVES ON EVERY LAND, NOT FOR OCCASIONAL HIKERS. IF YOU HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE, ADD ONE MORE DEGREE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF MY ROUTES SO YOU WILL NOT GET SURPRISES.
Nice circular route starting from Blyde Canyon to Forever Resort, combining the marked paths with different names of animals.
To say that we were staying at the resort, so we did not have to pay to enter it (it is a saying since the accommodation was not given to us for free). If you are coming from abroad, you have to pay and register to have the barrier opened for you. In any case you have to register at the reception (it is the tradition in these parts) so that you do not "get lost".
We start walking along the Kadishi (or Tufa) Trail, accompanying the homonymous river through lush forest, visiting some beautiful waterfall and some tempting pool. The day was cloudy, with the threat of sparkling, so we were not tempted to take a bath and the truth is that we did not experience any heat, but under normal conditions I think it would have been difficult to resist the temptation.
We then leave the Loerie Trael on the left, to continue walking along the Guinea-fowl Trail, to immediately connect with the Leopard Trail, obtaining better and better views of the Blyde Canyon with the 3 Rondawels in the background, without a doubt an image not to be forgotten . The last section is all up the Leopard Trail to the upper viewpoint, already on the asphalt of the road, where we return to our cabin.
Undoubtedly one of the best walks that can be done in the area, since it combines beautiful stretches of river with crystal clear waters, with good waterfalls and pools, very lush areas of forest and spectacular views of the Blyde Canyon and the Three Rondawels.
