Itinerary description
Another route at unigue Katharo plateau.Classic trail is until platia korifi and back for everyone. Many old stone homes and wells from past ,easy ascent and descent.Endless view to mirabello bay if clouds is not below you.Before platia korifi meeting with hunters,break for coffee and in 15min. to summit with destroyed antenna. We are decide to make round and after summit we continue down to the fields and then to 'Egisos, the south area of katharo.Some problems with fences and tided dogs from shepherds but nevermind. Then back to starting point by dirt roads and paths.
Trail is ideal for that who want to taste mountain and peaks with not serius dificult. Trail is almost for everyone because is pieces. Until anefalakos peak and back 4.5km. to platia korifi and back 7km. With start from 1200altitude and higher point at 1486 (platia korifi) you can choose how much you would like to spent on mountain.
PS: Anefalakos peak is at 1480m. and platia korifi 1486m.

Trail très difficile. Pas de sentier visible. Montée et descente ardues. Pas du tout pour tout le monde. Mais magnifique il est vrai.
