Itinerary description
A stunningly beautiful walk through Kerlingarfjoll with a view of the Hveradalir Geothermal Area as an apotheosis. From there the possibility to continue to Hveradalir itself. The starting point is the campsite in Kerlingarfjoll. The F route to the site is long and difficult to drive, so allow enough time to get there. Mobile network not always available in Iceland, but the walk is very well marked by cairns.
