Itinerary description

English (castellano debajo):

We started from the parking of the cable car which goes from Kies to Mettmen. The parking is for free and there are several of them so even though there were lots of cars there were still some spots available.

From here we have several options. The longest and easiest is the path that allows you to go by bike towards Aueren. The shortest one would be the one that goes up straight to Mettmen, but we decided to take it for the descend so we ended with the third option.
Since the very beginning the path goes up. You will go through super nice areas, forest, small mountain paths, but never technically difficult. There is a moment where there is a path turning left. It is not indicated as a route but it will be a shortcut (steeper and shorter). We decided to turn right and keep on the original one.

Once in Rossgletti (just a hut), you turn left and keep still going up for another good 30 minutes until you get to the peak. Even there you won't see the dam. You still need few more minutes till you reach it.

Along the dam there are various places where you can rest for lunch. There are benches, bins, bbq places or you can just descend up to the water so just need to make sure you chose the spot you prefer the most.

On the way down you pass next to a restaurant with lots of things for kids and actually very good food (or just for a snack or dessert). You need to deviate for around a minute from the track but it's well indicated.

From this point till the end is a nice and slippery some times as it's not mountain trail but they have paved weirdly half of the way.

Nice route, a bit exigent at the beginning, but totally worth it with the amazing views and piece along the way.

Castellano:
