[ENGLISH] [See below for the Spanish version]
Ascent to Kilimanjaro by the route Lemosho in 8 days, distributed in 9 stages (6 stages of approach, 1 stage of attack to the top, 2 of descent), with a total of 67.05 kms of route and 9857m of accumulated altitude (4635m of ascent and 5222m of descent).
We start the route over 8h from Mti Mkubwua (2790msnm) with sun, although throughout the day we will discover a systematic pattern that will accompany us in the rest of the days: Sun in the first hour, it clouds over the daily trekking, and We arrive at the next camp surrounded by thick fog, which lasts until the twilight (moment when the fog gives way to a starry sky, accompanied by a significant drop in temperatures). The ascension takes place initially through the plurisilva, although right at level 3000 there is a drastic change of landscape, beginning the moorland ("moorland") which is characterized by a considerable reduction of the foliage, the absence of trees and the profusion of bushes, especially boxwood and heather. Throughout the stage, important slopes are overcome, which lead us to overcome the 3550 masl, where some other groups give indications that the reduction of air density begins to produce significant effects on physical efficiency. Once we arrived at the Shira Ridge (remains of the cone of the ancient Shira volcano) we can see the entire Shira plateau, which we will visit in the next stage, and in the first instance the Shira I camp (3500msnm) which we arrived after 20 min of light and nice descent. After lunch, the guide and organizer of the trip (Charles) proceeds to make the presentation of the equipment.

Ascent to Kilimanjaro by the Lemosho route in 8 days, distributed in 9 stages (6 stages of approach, 1 stage of attack to the summit, 2 of descent), with a total of 67.05 km of route and 9857m of accumulated unevenness (4635m of ascent and 5222m of descent).
We start the route at 8 am from Mti Mkubwua (2790 masl) with sun, although throughout the day we will discover a pattern that will accompany us in the rest of days: Sun at first hour, clouds throughout the daily trekking, and we arrive at the next camp surrounded by thick fog, which lasts until dusk (when the fog gives way to starry sky, accompanied by significant drop in temperatures). The ascent initially passes through the plurisilva, although just at the 3000 height there is a drastic change of landscape, starting the moorland which is characterized by a considerable reduction of the leafy, the absence of trees and the profusion of shrubs, especially boxwood and heather . Throughout the stage important slopes are overcome, which lead us to surpass the level of 3550 masl, where some other groups give indications that the reduction of air density begins to produce significant effects on physical efficiency. Once we arrive at the Shira Ridge (remains of the cone of the old Shira volcano) we can see the whole Shira plateau, which we will cross in the next stage, and in the first instance the Shira I camp (3500 masl) to which we arrive after 20 minutes of light and pleasant descent. For the tade, after lunch, the guide and organizer of the trip (Charles) proceeds to make the presentation of the team.
