Itinerary description
100 miles in one go does take its toll on your body so if you do happen to do this, make sure you prepare your feet and all parts of your body for the friction! Kings Heath loop taking in Coventry, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and several other places. This was an organised event by the LDWA with 16 checkpoints providing food, fluids and toilet facilities. A maximum time limit if 2 hours at any stop means that no sleep is had during the event and at least one full nights walking is involved. There are several towns that you go through and I would recommend this to be treated as a trail walk and done over 4/5 days with stops at b&b or hotel accommodation or camping if you can find the places. A lot of very hard surfaces and 10 miles ish of canal walking are quite tedious. Quality foot wear is essential with cushioning soles and not regular walking boots, would be recommended. I have put it as very difficult purely for the distance as the walk itself would be categorised as easy.
