Itinerary description
The park has two vehicles for doing the safari, I'm not sure if you would be allowed to take your own 4*4 inside the park. The vehicles departed shortly before 11 am; some people had been waiting since 8.30 am. One month earlier, both vehicles were broken, so there were no tours. Park entrance plus the tour came to about $20. The actual "safari" is about 25 km down a dirt road, so there is quite a drive before you see animals.
This is seemingly Angola's only functioning national park. Don't expect to see giraffes, the last two were poached in 2023, so until there is a next "Noah's Ark" operation, big game is probably non-existent.
