Itinerary description

Off trail adventure. This trail was based on following another user's wikiloc trail. It involved quite a lot of complete off-trail trampling through forest and trying to find where someone else had got from A to B without any visible trail. Some parts very overgrown. Effectively a 'bush bash'.

Nice stops at the Spomenik and Kasteljan ruin.

This arch looked so inviting. We felt we had to follow it. But be warned. The trail goes on okay for a while, then gets narrower and eventually completely disappears. After that you are just using GPS to eventually rejoin a path. Be prepared for very dense bush.

This goes directly downhill all the way to the Kasteljan monastery ruin. It was muddy and slippery - better to do on a dry day and not after rain.

This is the last bush bash part of the trail. Lot of blackberries and nettles to get through, but by this stage you should be used to it and you are almost there! Anyway, there clearly was a track here at some point, it's just overgrown to the point of oblivion by now.
