This walk starts at the Ciudad del Cine (The old Eldorado film studios).
This is a pleasant walk in the Sierra Blanca - Matagallar, and takes you to the Atalaya
which is the fire lookout on Cerro Alaminos. From the summit you have views of Barranco Blanco, Sierra Alpujata, Alhaurin Golf and out to the Mediterranean .
There is one section that is quite stony for about 15 minutes. At the Cerro Alaminos intersection approximately 3km, apart from that this is a pleasant walk.
