Itinerary description
The trail "La Bohanan" follows blue rectangle marking. It starts in the village of Azy, a few minutes by car from Florenville.
We have followed the trail anti-clockwise. We first followed an asphalt and gravel road through fields, which then descended down through a forest to the river of Semois. We turned left and walked along the river bends. At certain moment we left a dirt road and followed a narrow path along the river.
At the northernmost point of the trail we turned again left and went uphill through a forest. On our way we made a small detour to the nearby "Roche Brûlée" offering a beautiful panoramic view. Further the road we stopped at a viewpoint "Bohanan" from which we could see the river bending a few dozen metres below. Then we continued through the forest and fields to the village of Azy.

Roche Brûlée
Rocks called Roche Brûlée offer a beautiful 360 degrees panorama of surrounding hills and forests. Unfortunately it is not possible to see la Semois from the top.

Pas si facile que ça le long de l'eau !!!!
Nice trail! We did it in the opposite direction. So we started a bit uphill. The part next to the water is flat and if you feel like it, you can swim. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed, when we followed the trail, the level of the water in Semois was being low and it was quite easy to walk along the river. Probably the trail is more challenging if the level of water is high.
