La Cala de Mijas – Cabopino

This walk starts from Las Mimosas, where there is plenty of parking.
It is a boardwalk walk from La Luna beach / La Butibamba all the way to Cabopino marina.
From here you get onto the National monument Dunas de Artola, which are the protected sand dunes, and also has an ancient watchtower.

Before reaching Cabopino the boardwalk ends and you will have a halj kilometre stretch on the beach.
You have an option to go around the back of the urbanisation, but I didn’t bother.
There are lots of bars and restaurants on route which I added to Wikiloc just for fun.
At Max beach there is a book crossing where you can swop books and films (A lot of the foreign).
