Itinerary description
A tough walk due to the amount of climbing, based on the track uploaded by 'Rutas de Tenerife' but starting at a different place and ending differently. The majority of the walk is on minor country roads (tarmac) or tracks, but the paths used across the barrancos both bottom and top are beautiful. The main interest is crossing and passing by several very scenic barrancos.
An excellent walk for winter/spring but probably not good in the summer due to lack of shade.
At waypoint 20 there is a cairn and path to the left which appears to cross the barranco and my map shows rejoining the track on a bend further on, where there was another cairn. This would be a shortcut, but we did not try it.
Una caminata fuerte por la subida. Se parece al track de 'Rutas de Tenerife' pero empezamos en sitio diferente y nuestra ruta al final también era diferente. La mayor parte de la caminata es en caminos (asfaltados o de tierra), pero los senderos que atraviesan los barrancos en alto y circo de La Cisnera, están impresionante. El interés mayor de la caminata es los barrancos pintorescos que atraviesan y pasan.
Una caminata para invierno/primavera pero no buena para verano debido a la falta de sombra.
A punto 20 hay al izquierda un mojón y una vereda que parece atraviesa el barranco y mi mapa tiene un sendero que une la pista en una curva mas alto donde vimos otro mojón. Seria una caminata mas corto pero no lo probamos.
