Itinerary description
This is a very beautiful walk indeed.
From the parking place, also a beautiful picknick place with 4 or 5 picknick tables, ample shade a water tap ánd a view point, the walk goes very gradually up to the Col de Rafaela, 530m.
On the way up you will pass the cave ( Cova) which can be visited during weekends and Holidays.
This walk will give you lots of beautiful views and unexpected vistas, close by and far away.
From the Col de Rafaela you can walk on in two directions, north-west and east and we followed a narrow track to the east in order to get better views on Gandia and the coast.
Going back to the junction, signposted, from which the Senda del Parpallo continues to the south on its way to the Font del Garrofer the track is initially wide and descends gradually, but it gets narrower and steeper, although it never is difficult.
From the Font de Garrofer the track remains narrow until you get to the GR 236, the Ruta des Monastirs, which will take you back to the parking places.
